GAS Program
This program was cancelled in 2004.
GAS stands for Get Away Special. The gas program is division of the Shuttle Small Payload Project.
The program is an opportunity for universities and private companies to get independent projects sent to orbit aboard the space shuttle.
RGSFOP Program
The Reduced Gravity Student Flight Opportunity Program. This program is put in place to allow undergraduates the experience of research in zero gravity.
